As I suspected …

As I suspected when I started this little project, more and more people are being thrown into the role of their family help desk and are looking for answers to their questions and concerns.  Salon.com’s David Sirota just published an interesting article on this very topic called Surviving the Networked Home.  It’s an interesting read and I agree with all his conclusions except the one to use electrical power line networking as there are concerns that it increases electromagnetic radiation in the  home. This is a topic that I’ll do some additional research on for a future post before I agree or disagree with a power line adapter solution.
